Comfort and Consolation

Prayer for consolation

Bring me your consolation.
Comfort me.
I need the sweet balm of your assurance.

This burden is heavy
And I stagger under the load.
If I fail, all will be lost.
Console me with your strength.

Bring me your consolation.
Comfort me.
I need the soft light of your guidance.

The path ahead is dim
And I'm not sure where to step.
If I lose my way, many will suffer.
Console me with your light.

Oh, bring me, again, your consolation,
Your mighty comfort.
Magnify my strength,
Clarify my vision,
And keep me close by you.
