Love has many faces

~

all are beautiful

She loves you.
Soft as a star
loud as a sun,
soft as a cello
loud as a drum.
She loves you.

Garden of Delight
This timeless and intricate moment

Love's Meridian
What is the geography of love?

Constancy
Fidelity and change

Not a rational activity
Well, it isn't is it?

Marmalade defies rationality
Finding zest within the utterly familiar
A reader's response

A man who...
We are changed by new depths

Gosling Love
Is it love or imprinting?

Love's Face
The face of love is turned to you

Turn to Me
In every moment, it is right here

Let me be Everything
She wants all of him

I will love you in everyway
Loving, soft and strong

Heart of my heart's desire
Eager to live as one — a personal favourite

Icarus
Burn with me

Intemperate
Passion contravenes promises

Life's Companion
Fresh love for familiar treasures

Need calls love
Need, strength and beauty call it again

Love and love
Two flavours of love

Comanded to Love
Leave me no choice

Mutual Love
When both are equally pleased

River of Love
The waters carry me along

River and fish
An enduring favourite

Platonic thoughts from a sensualist
Different ways of knowing you

Mountains of serenity
A short expression of love

Sunday Afternoon
Thoughts from my garden

Squares of love
A pattern of loving thoughts

Material love
Short and solid

Heavy as a pudding-gone-wrong
It takes a different weight

He sneezes; she loves
Love smiles at the oddest times

Sweet love
Carry me to heights

Fragrant brew
Coffee, mmmm...

The Gift
Come and unwrap me!
A sensual delight

The Goddess calls him
Called by the Goddess

Betty-Lou
A classic complaint, to raise a wry smile.

Letters to Tirra | Tirra reads aloud |

Australian poet and writer, Gillian Savage, shares her nature poems, love poems, and poetry of fate. Meditations and prayer are here too. Oh, and some stories.

Wikipedia says that 'aphorism' (literally distinction or definition, from Greek) denotes an original thought, spoken or written in a laconic and easily memorable form.

The name was first used in the Aphorisms of Hippocrates. The term came to be applied later to other sententious statements of physical science and later still to statements of all kinds of philosophical, moral or literary principles.

Australian writer Gillian Savage shares her various writings.
