I miss you

I miss you when the western
  horizon opens up
  and swallows the sun

Illuminating the deep blue
sky with a fiery rainbow
of colors just as if it was
painted by Van Gogh

I miss you when the rains
cool the earth
and roses and jasmins
renew with their fragrance
the remains of the day
I miss you primor
I miss you !

One poem at a time

One poem at a time
a story unfolds
I'm caught up in
a whirlwind of emotions
and unspoken words.

for if I say the words
will you hold them tenderly
in your hands?

will they find a place
in your heart?
they have travel for
so long, they come from
a distant land

a thousand miles journey
on the silent flight of a dove
they want to be spoken out-loud
so everyone knows
they want to be spoken in a whisper
as I look into your eyes....
je t'aime primor!

Untitled

I feel the radiant presence
the intangible presence of
you being all around me
like a warm summer breeze

I feel the indelible presence
that time nor old age
will tarnish or fade

enigmatic
       like
               the moon
on a warm summer night
