Tirra's Ladder of Acceptance |
Yearn Yearning is a stronger, more durable form of wishing. It seems to come from a more solid centre of gravity in us and pulls us steadily in one direction. Yearning grows from the taste of wonder. We experience something so whole
and beautiful that we yearn constantly to know it again. We don't choose to
yearn. At times, we can know that something is yearning for us. This awareness
calls us to come again and live there The small part yearns for the whole just as the whole yearns for the small part Yearning like this, I am never cut off from what I seek. I live in relationship with it. I will wait patiently, alert and ready, with the steady pulse of yearning as my guide. Eagerly I welcome you, |
